There should be no wonder if man craves for power throughout his life. We can say that the history of the world is a story of the struggle for power. The power for which man struggles so much is of two kinds, namely physical and mental. Before the dawn of civilization, men used to know and think of only one kind of power and that was physical. The strength of arms used to decide the things and might was always right. But the things got better gradually with the advancement of civilization. The power of mind became more desirable than the physical one.
