Letter to Friend Congratulating on His Brilliant in the Examination

My dear Friend,

I am hale and hearty here with the grace of Almighty Allah and hope that this letter of mine will find you in the best of your health and spirits. One Of our friends told me that you have topped the board in Pre-medical group and that the result was published in "Daily Nation" bearing date August 17. Sent my servant to buy one copy of the Daily Nation of that date, looked through the paper once, twice, thrice, I do not know how many times but your roll number was not there. I was disappointed. But on a little reflection, I realized that I was turning the pages without remembering what exactly your roll number was. So I rushed into my room, looked through my diary and found the lucky roll number. I took the paper again and there your roll number was beaming at me through the print. It was the first time that had realized that even cold print has life in it. I cannot describe the thrill and excitement which gripped me when I was overjoyed to see your name on the top of the list of successful candidates. I was so beside myself with joy that I began to embrace dear mother and father. The mother was also so overjoyed that she arranged special dishes in the lunch.

Please accept our heartiest congratulations from the core of the heart and convey them to uncle, aunt and other members of the family. This is really an admirable achievement. You are so industrious, diligent and talented student that everybody expects such spectacular success from you. We knew that you would pass the examination with flying colors. We are all delighted at your success, dear friend, and we are tremendously proud of you. You cannot measure the depth of our joy. You have won our hearts by coming up with our expectations. All the kith and kin are in praise for you rather proud of you. The happiest people among you must be your parents whose dreams you have realized in such a marvelous way even though you had fallen ill just before the examination.

Dear friend, the contribution of your parents towards your outstanding success is substantial. They have endeavoured to provide you with every facility. Though your father is a teacher with limited means of income, he sweats blood to fulfill your needs. You have responded well to his labour by showing Such an outstanding result. Heartiest Congratulations to you, your parents whose name you have brightened, your elder brother and younger sister. You have brought a great honour to your family and the college/school. I hope that your brilliant success will prove to be the inception of an outstanding and bright career of studies in future. With such a good division in the Pre-medical group, it is useless to get admission to the B.Sc. You must be looking forward to get admission to a medical college of your choice. Your are sure to get scholarship also. Five years of work and labour and then an honorable place in society. You can both serve the suffering humanity and earn for yourself.

Dear friend, still you are to burn the midnight oil to pass your MBBS examination with distinction. This is the destination that you must have set before you as your goal. Let us all prostrate to Allah the Almighty and offer thanks to him for this brilliant success! May your future be as bright as the lamp that we used to See Shinning from your study window till late at night May Allah help you to turn your parents' dreams into reality.

I am sure your will Soon join a Medical College and will then feel so grown up, independent and, perhaps, a little more intellectual. With this letter, am a So sending a beautiful Parker pen as a gift for this great achievement. Kindly don't forget Sweet; we shall rather have a dinner. I hope you will not disappoint me and your friends in refusing to give a hearty feast in honor of this success. Please pay my compliments and congratulations to all the members of your family. May Allah grant you with even greater laurels in life.
