Letter to Friend Sympathizing on His Failure in the (F.Sc) Examination

My dear Friend,

I am hale and hearty here with the grace of Almighty Allah and I hope that this letter of mine will find you in the best of your health and spirits. I was suddenly overwhelmed with severe shock on hearing the sad news of your failure in the intermediate examination. could not believe Such shocking news. suddenly rush to the News Agency, looked for your Roll Number and was even more saddened. Your unexpected failure in the examination has proved to be a bolt from the blue not only for your kith and kin but also for your friends and student. I cannot believe that a hard-working student like you can ever fail. You have always shown remarkable results. Your amazing achievements and astonishing accomplishments have always been a feather in your parent's cap. I could not grasp the cause of your recent failure. Therefore, I asked a friend of ours one cause of your failure. He told me about the critical circumstances you had to undergo and which played a Crucial role in causing your failure. It is rather what fate had decided about you as a man is helpless before the decree of fate. I agree with Shakespeare that,

"There is divinity that shapes our end."

I came to know that the sudden sad demise of your dear mother two months before your annual examination and afterward the resulting nervous breakdown of your sister are underlying causes of your failure otherwise such a realize your tear-filled eyes, sunken cheeks, lugubrious look, cadaverous countenance, melancholic mien and Sullen Soul. Moreover, the question papers were difficult this time. Perhaps you could not attempt all of them.

Dear friend, you should not be crest fallen and dejected. Do not let these stifling circumstances make you bite your nails. You need not fret and fume at what had happened. Only that man stands successful and glorious in life who does not yield to the adverse circumstances but takes the bull by the horns, faces the odds of life manly and turns the odds to his favour. Prickling predicaments must not pester you. Try to suppress your suffering and Sorrow. You arè a brave and courageous boy. Fight your way through fierce flames. fèy to become a helping hand to your father who has been deprived of his partner of life. Take a flying start with unbounded enthusiasm. Flash and flaunt your force and fervour. Be prepared to plunge into the persistent persuits of life. There is a famous proverb,

"Ninety percent of inspiration is perspiration."

Such an attitude would help you to realize the shattered dreams of your family. You would then become a lighthouse top that determines the path of success. Friend, life is full of chances. Failures are the stepping stones to success. You should also take it as a challenge and make a firm resolve to do much better in the next attempt. My own example should be a good lesson for you. could not do well in my Secondary School Examination. I never gave up. I worked nards and in the second attempt and I passed the same examination with distinction. hope you will Concentrate on your studies this time. This will help you achieve good results in the Second attempt. If you can spare time, please do come and stay with me during Summer vacation. I know you have some problems in Chemistry and Urdu. These are my favourite subjects and I shall be glad to render you some help.

Friend, may Say one more thing. Change your life style. Avoid the company of some of your friends who are addicted to smoking and some other bad things. Be punctual in your prayers and recite the Holy Quran with translation. These good habits will give you the peace of mind which will help you regain your concentration. If you can Concentrate on what you need, you will Surely produce much better results. Compose yourself and console your family with your attitude. Chalk out a new timetable and start working with ever increasing zeal and zest. Glorious success shall certainly knock at your door. I am the one ever praying for your Success and comforts in life.
